San Ramón, Costa Rica

Project Description

ODYSSEYS Costa Rica is an Association (Costa Rica non-profit), non-governmental organization (NGO) providing opportunities for the adventurous individual, family or group, to explore as cost effectively as possible the art, culture, language and natural wonders of Costa Rica.

It is our belief that actions as simple as sharing creativity and lending a hand, can be powerful tools for opening up human hearts and challenging the barriers that separate them.

Volunteer Information

Why pay exorbitant prices to donate your time and skills?

As a non-profit we only take in enough to offer you the best experience possible, pay our staff fairly, and regularly donate to each of the communities and projects we serve.
For virtually all of our projects we offer a low, flat-rate program fee which is a fraction of what other organizations charge for the same projects, even in the same locations:

$550 for two weeks, $700 for up to one full month, and $165 for each additional week.

Included in our project fee: Airport Pick Up, Costa Rica & Program Orientation with a physical tour of San Ramón, Host Family Accommodations (private room, shared bath), 3 Meals Per Day, Volunteer Project Placement & Coordination, In-person support weekly and on-call, Certificate of Volunteer Service Hours (Reference letter or other evidence as needed.), Assistance with Planning Excursions and Activities, and 24 hour in-country emergency service.
